When are transactions to be reviewed?
Transactions appear instantly on RAMP. The user has 30 days from the purchase to supply a photo of the receipt, a memo, and a GL (account number). If a GL is unavailable, email p-card@wittenberg.edu to have it added to your delegation. Only once a purchase has all three elements will it be sent to approver.
What happens if I miss a deadline for approving transactions?
RAMP automatically shuts down a card if a receipt, memo, or GL is not provided within 30 days of the purchase. Email p-card@wittenberg.edu with questions.
I tried to make a purchase with my Purchasing Card and my transaction was denied. Why? What do I do?
There are several reasons for which you might be denied a purchase with your card. Most often, it is because the vendor has an electronics problem in which the transaction cannot get to the bank. Other reasons include:
You are over your monthly limit (generally $5,000/month).
The shipping or billing address is incorrect. Both should be set to 225 N. Fountain Ave. Springfield, OH 45504.
If problems persist, contact the Business Office.
I have to make travel arrangements with my purchasing card, but the spending limits on my card are too low. What do I do?
If you know the arrangements will be less than your monthly limit, go ahead and make the arrangements. If you need a temporary raise to your limit, have your direct supervisor submit the request via email to p-card@wittenberg.edu.
Remember though, when making reservations it must be a direct expense with a hotel and/or airline. Travel agencies are not coded as travel related.
My card is lost or has been stolen! HELP!!!
Call customer service at 1-855-206-SAVE (7283) immediately. RAMP will cancel the card and send a replacement. If unauthorized purchases are made as a result of the card being lost or stolen, the cardholder will not be held responsible if the situation is reported within 14 calendar days.
Can someone else make a purchase for me using my card?
Someone else can make a purchase using your card; however, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PURCHASES MADE WITH YOUR CARD. If misuse or fraudulent use of the card occurs, it is your responsibility. The person that you allowed to use your card is not responsible.
