Built with donations in 1931 from the Elgar Weaver family of Brookville, Ohio. Dr. Hugh G. Harp, professor of mathematics and astronomy, was the first director of Weaver Observatory.

Located on Bill Edwards Drive, next to Hollenbeck Hall, the Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center houses some of Wittenberg's most popular majors in the departments of biology, chemistry, geology, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, environmental science, information systems, and nursing.
Myers Hollow is located between Myers Hall and Hollenbeck Hall.
